University of Northern Colorado is a great school in the small college town of Greeley. Greeley is most known for its cow manure smell, however it does not really occur all that often. People also say that the city of Greeley is unsafe because of gang members and the like. This my friends is a total farce. Greeley is just like any city where if a person wants to go walking through the really "bad" parts of town of course something might happen to them. The college campus however never has any problems. UNC is not the school to go to if one wishes to just get hammered every weekend and fail out of college. There really just isn't a party life at this school, but if someone is looking for a nice quiet city to get away and study (apparently not the purpose in college anymore) Greeley is the place to go. The faculty are all experts in their fields, and the class sizes are never too big. "College is what you take from it" is the best axiom I can give to anyone considering UNC. If you want to make lifelong friendships that won't be centered around how many beers you can chug Greeley is your place. Oh and the girl to boy ratio is like 65:35 ;-)
