I attended UOP at one of the Central Florida Campuses and graduated with my bachelors in 2002. I chose Phoenix because I had a full-time job, married with a baby and the school offered me the flexibility to finish my degree.

I transfered there from one of the local community colleges. The staff were nice and helpful. The professors were nice too, but the classes were not as challenging as the ones I took in the local community college.

The tuition was very high also.

I'm very dissapointed about the fact that the school now has such a bad reputation, and is perceived as a diploma mill. I even feel embarassed to say that I attended UOP, and I'm worried about how prospective employers will perceive me. When I decided to go for my Master's degree, I went to a state school. I would not recommend UOP to anybody after all the bad publicity this school now has. I have also heard horror stories from students that are currently enrolled. Plus, the tuition is so expensive.
