ESU does not have the academic resources for a Ph D program in the field of inforamtion science. The ESU library is extremely tiny. On the contrary the University of Kansas has much better resources for a doctorate studies for the Kansas students. Unfortunately ESU receives lots of funding from its long distance LIS programs and would not allow KU takes over the program. I was in ESU doctorate program for one semester. I took two classes and got As without putting too much effort on the courses. During my studies I went to KU and utilize its library resources. If you want a "wuality" education, please DON't GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! The faculty are not knowlegeable and as I said the research resources are so limit…
