Don't
go into a field that is “not known” or “overlooked”
in Utah. I took a M.S. in Human Services
specializing in Public Safety Emergency Management, without thinking that nothing
ever tragic or disasterous happens in Utah. Employers will look
at the degree and you and say “well the position
we are filling has nothing to do with this field.”
(I've told most that I can read and comprehend
and I was aware the position I applied for did
not have anything to do with the degree). So if
you don't like looking out of the box you'll do
fine.
