This school sucks. I transferred to SB as a junior. I have not yet completed a full year here and I already want out. The only great thing about it is the fact that the city is only a train ride away. As an English major you are required to take a full TWO YEARS (a year of beginning plus a year of intermediate) foreign language. I am an ENGLISH major, why do I have to take 2 years in a foreign language?! That is absurd and ridiculous. A year is understandable. It can be useful and allows one to be well-rounded, but 2 years is almost an embarrassment for the school. Some of the professors I have really liked, but most of them I can't stand. [If you are an English major coming here beware of Heidi Hutner. Do Not Take Her. She thinks her class is your only class]. The education itself is not a bad one. It is not a cakewalk, you get challenged, which is nice… but as for the SOCIAL LIFE… Hahahahah. It is a JOKE. Especially if you are a transfer student. There is NOTHING to do here. The activities set up by the RA's are so queer. No one goes. All people do here is smoke weed. My hallway reaks of weed every night. You step out of my suite and the scent is so evident. No one does anything about those loser kids though who have nothing else to do than smoke weed every night. It's not like they can go out though since everything is a hundred miles away. I leave every weekend because the social life here is so lame. I have hardly met anyone since I have been here because it is so clicky here.

I would recommend this school if youre asian because they are their own group and do not allow anyone else in. If you look over they give you the most arrogant, snotty look. It's amusing. This school (to put it simply) suck. I cannot wait to transfer. Bye, Seawolves!! What the hell is a seawolf anyway?
