Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
I chose to go to LU originally for nursing, and switched my major a year later to Graphic Design. Liberty is a great school, for some majors. Art is not one of them. The coursework is not challenging or competitive. Anyone who can do cheap tricks in photoshop can ace all the classes. There is not a strong emphasis on this history of the arts or traditional arts. There is NO emphasis on the web or web standards, which is unfortunate. Designers should be well rounded - able to produce excellent product in print and web pieces. If you are interested in an art / design career, please consider an art school. However, this school does have some good majors. If you're interested in law, seminary, nursing, education or ministry and you're a commited Christian, this is the place for you. I really did enjoy my time here. If you're not a conservative Christian or you have no interest in following the rules having faith integrated into all your studies, please don't come here. It's just not for you.
