PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! Thomas is way out of touch with out to educate students. The campus has probably 400 or so students that reside there, which make social life absolutely horrible. The dorms are quite poor, they just built new townhouses—cheep prefabs, and they are already falling apart from not being built properly for college lifestyle. I think I have covered the same topic in class in 6 different courses. Very easy to get a good grade, do you busywork and cram the night before. They boast their athletics, but it is a Tier 3, DIII school with half of the sports being club. It costs quite a bit to go here, not worth what you get. You're paying state taxes to the University system, so use it. Go to Orono or USM or a smaller state school. The administrative staff is very, very disorganized and just overall stubborn, making the environment very uninviting. I have had bad experiences, but looking back, I just want to urge any of you, to seriously consider what it would be like having 400 students on a college campus where half of them go home every weekend, you don't really learn much in class, and you can't even act like a college student because of the ridiculous atmosphere.
