Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
I knew I wanted to be in psychology/education-stayed very much on track, got 2 masters degrees and a doctoral degree in the field. The good news-I was well prepared, the bad news, I have debt that I never should have taken on given the average salaries in the field. The worst news-just when I was fighting my way to get into APA acreddited PhD program, PsyD programs started churning out practitioners by the 100's and the college tenure track dried up completly. My advice only do this if you can get a full ride with assistantships-going into debt in this field makes no sense!
