The residence life reassignment has been a complete mess! There are students without housing and cannot afford a house or off campus apartment. They really slammed this on us without warming. Those students that worked harder and achieved "senior status" their junior year were forced off campus to "prepare themselves for the future". I just wish I knew where I signed up to pay thousands of dollars to be told what to do?
This campus is NOT "THE PLACE TO BE". Many of my freshman and sophomore friends are even being screwed over due to the "planning" of Residence Life. I thought the plan was to help those younger studnets?
A letter to a fellow student wrote, What?? We are all paying for an education. I do not see where one student has more of a right than another?
All in all, I would NOT recommend living on this campus to anyone. If you are a commuter it is a great experience, but trying to find a place to live on this campus is a joke. I DO NOT think they thought this through at all!
So thank you Elmhurst College for giving me the "GREAT experience". I am glad I stuck around three years to find out I was just a number and a burden for the incoming freshman and their money toward your corrupted program.
