Roanoke has been a great experience where I have been able to develop as an individual. Even though I took a lot of D.E and A.P classes in high school, I still found the course work very challenging and my grades have gone down from mostly 90's in high school to mostly 80's here although I am doing better since freshman year. Most of the students are friendly and nice but there are a few pompous rich kids here and there. You will probaly find a group of people that are right for you and you will fit in with. There are actually some very brilliant kids here who have the potential to get inducted into Phi Beta Kappa or Alpha Chi. I was surprised that there are so many people here who are smarter than me and going in I thought I would be a big fish in a small pond. Instead I frequently get overshadowed by the smarter kids.
