I could not have chosen a better school than Valdosta State University, and this has been confirmed since I graduated. Not only did I receive a first-rate education, I was exposed to many outstanding people of character and integrity. Oh, yeah, and it was fun! People need to remember that they cannot ascertain the entire college experience without finding a niche. Whether it is a sorority (mine was), a fraternity, the school newspaper, or another campus organization—you get out of school what you put in. I can base my "real world" experiences and learning on my collegiate undertakings. While I chose VSU for its aesthetic properties, I stayed because of its charming nature. Being a Blazer was an experience I will never forget.
