Major: Engineering Department (This Major's Salary over time)
This is a very large school with many programs and departments. Some of the professors should not be teaching the classes they do. Unqualified, rushed sloppy learning experience. A lot of lame busy work and arrogant attitudes among the students and professors. Everyone pretends to be some kind of self-proclaimed bad ass. Hard to deal with many of these immature self absorbed students. Spoiled rich kids with no direction mindlessly taking classes and trying to prove how cool they are in their free time. A lot of stupid looking students wondering around the campus with dirty looking cloths, long hair, and I don't care written on their faceless expressions. A very nice campus aesthetically. Accretivley evolved from northwest to southeast. Constant construction. Clustered feel. Most of the girls look like members of some clone organization. Tights, boots, straight long hair, big sunglasses. A lot of shitheads wondering the hill looking for drugs and parties in hooded sweatshirts. The hill is a dirty decrepit feeling throwback to some 1980s nightmare. Smells of greasy food, vomit on sidewalks, trash blowing around with many homeless people all over town begging for money and drugs. Pearl Street has many bars where many students frequent. My experience was so so. I think the education you get here will more than prepare you for any career you are going into. The real estate is pricey in the Boulder area. Boulder is some kind of Yuppie haven. Many wealthy areas in the mid sized town. The glorious Flatirons must draw the real estate up. Not really a place I am proud of going to.
