For all you people that think U of L is in the ghetto, please shut up. Just because you have never seen a shotgun house doesn't mean its ghetto. I'm sorry that all houses can't be like your cookie-cutter, suburban America house. As for Old Louisville, what can I say? It's old! It looks old, but inside those old building are nice apartments. I am actually moving into one of those soon. This area is not ghetto. I've spent my entire life living within a 10 minute walk of U of L. I am not ghetto, my neighbors are not ghetto. I'm sorry my house isn't worth more than $100,000. I guess I'm just not as fortunate to be secluded in my little subdivision living the American dream. I like where I am. I'm near a music hall, Bardstown Road, and downtown. Everyday you can find something new to do or check out. Now I'm sure there's a bunch of people who do drugs, but thats everywhere. It even happens in your pleasant little subdivision. Some people in Louisville are a little redneck, some maybe a little racist. But on the whole everyone from this city is very tolerant and friendly. It wasn't voted one of the most livable cities for nothing. So for all you people who think U of L is ghetto, please go take your daddy's BMW and drive it into the Ohio River.
