Check the retention rate..The highest grade I gave on the survey was a B.. and that was for Campus Aesthetics. That should tell you something. While CNU may appear to be a great school, appearances are not always everything. I came here with the expectation of a great school, but was severely disappointed. I admit, I have had some great professors, but there are great professors at every university. The location is one of the sketch-iest in Virginia, and I'm paying so much to live here? Makes no sense to me. Yes, the dorms are nice and the brick is pretty.. But is that really what college should be about? The Campus Activities Board is a joke and the parties are lame. People are arrogant and self-absorbed. The "Christians" on campus are the lamest excuse for Christians I have met- never have I met people less Christian than these people. I have met many, many people transferring do to lack of "stuff to do." Seriously, there is nothing. Disgusting food, lack of diversity, and self-conscious people do not make for a truly "up-and-coming" university. The university needs to make changes before enrollment drops too much. My advice: Make sure CNU is really what you want before you get stuck here. If you do come, don't give up on the option of transferring. As for myself, I have decided to transfer and hopefully have a real college experience at another school.
