Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
I too read the comments about Troy's program in Texas. It appeared to be a nightmare. I was in the DL program with Troy both online and classroom. My experience with Troy has been spotty when it came to the administration and I would rate the academics as average at best. Troy was an expedient for me…it just happened to be the easiest option available. I had five interviews, and none of them had ever heard of Troy, but I was looking for just about any job available. I landed with a company that utilizes my brain and not what I learned in college. They trained me the way they wanted and I have caught on fairly quick. They are also paying for my masters program with a really nice school. I was intimidated at first, because I don't think I was as well prepared as most of the other students. It didn't take me long to finally realize I was actually going over new ground and just to knuckle down and do my best. Troy certainly didn't prepare me for this. My experience with Troy wasn't the best, but I was able to graduate in spite of their shortcomings.
