Dartmouth is one of the best colleges out there…academic-wise. Everyone should do a thesis, independent study, or some type of research work while they're enrolled to truly get their money's worth, though. Additionally, one should take advantage of all of the off-campus programs and leave-term internship opportunities that the D-plan affords…trust me on this one…You don't want to be like the guy who's miserable (check on the negative reviews). There are still some things that I don't like about Dartmouth : its location is in rural NH, nasty winters, and sometimes very awkward students who just don't seem grounded in reality…But, I'll let you be the judge
