Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
I came to Millersville as an education major. It has a phenomenal education program and I couldn't be happier with my choice to go here. The way I look at it is why pay to go to a private college to be a teacher. Don't put yourself in that much debt. Education is what Millersville and other state schools are known for. I grew up near Philly so moving to Amish country was kind of a shocker, I'm not gonna lie. I have however loved my leisure time here and have felt that I could usually find something to do. Of course that has increased since I turned 21. There are buses to the mall and into the city. There are also loads of student organizations to join. There is just a nice atmosphere here. People are very warm and down to earth. Coming from snobby suburban Philly, the modest lifestyle here is just refreshing. Most of the professors I have encountered care a great deal about our welfare. I have learned a lot in my classes. One major complaint is registration. It is very difficult to get all of the classes you need. I came up one class short on completing a minor because I couldnt get into the only class that was being offered to fulfill that minor requirement. I can honestly say that my time at Millersville has been nothing but rewarding. It is a beautiful campus in a wonderful area. I wouldn't trade my years here for anything. This is really a wonderful place.
