I came to Columbia College simply because they gave me a full scholarship and a lot of students are here for that reason. I did not expect the classes to be challenging simply because I just had to send in my scores adn I was in… no essay writing or anything. The english department is pretty awesome, especially if you're in the honors course and you can take advantage of the really amazing teachers here. All of the staff is brilliant and they love their students but life mostly sucks if you're a brand new international here. The school is small, therefore each club has ten to fifteen members and there are no intra mural sports. You have to take two semesters of foreign language even if you speak other languages and technically english is your foreign language.

I like this school but I need to get out of here simply because there are no internationals at all. statistics say that internationals are 1% of the student body, but thats crap. There are probably thirty fulltime international students here and most of them try to transfer if they get full scholarships.

My advice is come here of you're not very smart, classes are not that hard and some classes are curved though most are not. If you come her make sure you have a car becaues if you dont youre screwed big time.
