Much of Trinity College's reputation is derived from the many influential and prestigious graduates of this school, virtually all of whom show a tremendously high level of interest in hiring graduates of this institution. However, this does not apply if you are either a minority, or if you have gone to an average public school. Minorities are completely excluded from fraternities, and to a large extent this is also applicable to Jews who are on the whole excluded with the exception of one or two token members in each major Greek society. The school as a whole is extremely clique-based, and if you were an avid fan of your high school experience, I would highly recommend that you come here. However, if you are looking for an academic experience where you can discuss intellectual issues in the same manner as you discuss sports (should you be male), then this is the completely wrong place for you. The students on the whole are so utterly uninterested in academics that it is shocking that most of them even bothered to learn how to read in the first place.
