It shocks me tremendeously on the number of negative comments on here. The person that posted a review below does NOT GO TO SYRACUSE. Theres absolutely no class here where you can play Halo and still get A's. I repeat, NONE!

Now without further ado, I will now present to you reason that you should select Syracuse University based on FACTS.

1. Diversity- Syracuse is full of people from all over the United States and all over the world. I promise you coming here you are bound to learn many different cultures and meet people from all walks of life.

2. Professors- The Professors here are extremely brilliant and are always willing to help you when you don't understand a subject. Some professors would even go out with you for some beer and sit down with you to discuss the subjects. Professors are not only knowledgable in their field but are engaging and approachable.

3. Opportunites/Networking- There are just so many extra-curricular activities that students can immerse themselves in. There is something for everybody no matter where you come from or what your personality is. It wouldn't be so wise not to get involved because it is a great way to meet friends, network and expand your horizons.

And because SU has a solid alumni based network studnets typically graduate being able to find a job and those who choose to go on to grad school end up at the best of the best grad schools

4. Athletic programs/school spirit- Syracuse University just boasts school spirit down to every last breath. Students definitely immerse themselves in either joininga sport or becoming sports fans. Theres nothing like taking a load of from all the hard work and engaging in sports.

5. Work hard/play hard environment- The SU student body definitely knows how to party and have fun, but thats because they have put in so much work into academics that its worth the reward. And the mean GPA isn't so high because of grade inflation. It's high because students work their buttes off for the grades.

6. Quality of Programs- Syracuse boasts one of the best Journalism, Architecture and Public Affairs schools in the country. With top notch professors who are the best at their field, a massive alumni network, and a sky rocket job placement rate you can't go wrong coming to SU for either of the three field.

Overall, Syracuse IS one of the bets Universitys to attend. You will definitely not succeed here without great work ethic. the best advice possible is to put academics before anything, maintain a great social life and just live life to the fullest.
