Hey, I'm a freshman right now at CMC, and I completely agree with you. I was wondering if you would be willing to answer some questions about how the transfer process went for you. Thanks! |
Major: Computer Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I am transferring after my freshman year. If you are the type of person who wants to play the system instead of actually getting something out of school and life, consider cmc. The kids may be smart, but they'll generally be chanting or shouting unintelligibly in a drunken haze, so you probably won't notice. Academic discussions outside of class tend to be limited to complaints, with the exception of econ and gov't. The social life consists of bad music and beer pong. Stuff i maybe thought would've been cool in middle school. Ive heard many stories of people returning from abroad and realizing that so much more can and should make up a social life, but too many don't realize this, only experiencing this at cmc. It is more homophobic, less cultured, less fun, and less creative than my public high school.
