The only real thing this school cares about is its image towards the outside of the college. The campus has gotten progressively more dangerous through my time here, and the school is trying to seem like a prestigious college, but has less amenities than every surrounding college, which they try to compensate for by adding a year later, and therefore cutting back on neccessary things (sushi bar for the school but cutting back on laundry, printing, and funds for other clubs on the premise that they are being "sustainable"?). Administration has a very liberal stick up their nether regions so that they are actively trying to get anything that doesn't fit into their agenda of civic engagement kicked off campus aka any greek organization, but they do love minority groups and liberal factions that try to protest anything. The social scene is nonexistent except for random groups that stay in at night, greek/former greek (kicked off) organizations and sports teams. If you don't live in a dorm that tours go through, it will take facilities twice as long to fix anything, and tuition is going up $3,000 a year regardless of any economic situation. Also they say that financial aid is going up..but that is only for the incoming classes. I have received a fixed amount for three years that has not gone up with the tuition hikes. I wish I'd gone to a bigger school where the administration wasn't fixated on being "progressive" when they have no idea what it actually means…Most of the administration that were normal have left in the past 3 years
