Southern University and A & M College

If someone asked me if they should attend Southern University I would tell them not to, and if they were set on going i would tell them to prepare for the worst. The chancellor is no help and is quitting, administration is very stubborn and unhelpful. Many teachers do their job and help students in as many ways as possible. But there are also many teachers who teach of power points which would explain why a class of 100 students in biology, there are only about 15 students left by the end of the semester. If you can survive through Southern, you can survive through life. You will hear every excuse imaginable, but the school is ridicously CHEAP to attend. so you get what you pay for. the social life can be great, making friends is fairly easy, partying is hard without a car so bring one. Overall, If i had to make the choice again I would not attend Southern University. I dont have the constant energy needed to fight with administrators, honors college,teachers, or nasty mayberry food. By the way the school will soon face a 17 million dollar budget cut, but the band is FANTASTIC. yea thats the mind set if everything sucks but the band then its ok. think twice b4 coming here.
