Oakwood
U. is an HBCU, pretty campus, settled in Huntsville, AL.
It can be a bit of a boring city and
school, however the people make it worthwhile. Because it is
a small campus, for some it can be more intimate
where as others might feel suffocated. The curriculum is
NOT challenging, unless you are a Biology, Nursing, Engineering major,
ect.
The Communications department is understaffed and underfunded.
Because we are a SDA institution, the Greek life on
campus is virtually nonexistent. Unless you count the “fake” or
non-Divine 9 sororities and frats.
All in all, Oakwood is
what you make it. The spiritual environment is great, its
fairly easy to meet and make lifelong friends.
I
give it a C for effort.
