The department is alright. Varied viewpoints. Talk to the faculty during office hours, they're very approachable. Distribution requirements are a little difficult to achieve. The university itself is a pain. There are very strict general education requirements, with a lot of 'busy work'. It is extremely frustrating dealing with most administrative offices - usually everything is treated like its the students fault and most administrators act like they're doing you a favor just by doing their job. Granted - some are FANTASTIC, but most are very frustrating to deal with. Social life in town is a joke - there are a couple pizza joints, and a pathetic excuse for a bar. Lancaster is a few miles down the road, but its not a nice city.If you're from the area, and want an affordable, middle-of-the-road education without going far from home. If you're from out of state, or looking for something prestigious, look elsewhere.
