Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
The guidance department in MCCC was horrible. Every semester before classes, I would go for advice as to which courses to take to complete my major. Every time, I'd be told that half the courses I took during the previous semester could not be applied to my major (I majored in Humanities, since they did not have an Education curriculum) and I would have to take a whole slew of other courses. Every semester I was told this. By a different adviser. Every time. After three years of chasing my tail academically, I threw up my hands and gave up.If you're transferring to another university, get THEIR curriculum, not MCCC's, and follow that to the letter. MCCC will have you chasing dragons. However, I had a pleasant experience with the teachers (not with most of the students), and learned a great deal in a manner that made information retention fairly easy. The flaw in MCCC is NOT the teachers as much as it is the guidance department and the students themselves. The campus is NOT safe at night, by the way. Carry mace. Especially if you're female and alone.
