Scotia will be what ever you make of it. Yes, there are alot of things that could be better and more organized but the students and most of the teachers are kind individuals. However, those individuals (staff) who were in administrative positions (business office, financial aid office, student affairs office) and you know who you are, were worst than the students when it came down to starting and keeping drama going between the students. they needed and probally still need to keep their mouths out of other peoples life and business. (Mr(s). Curry, Mrs. Washington and the rest of those snakes in the financial aid office you old hags need to shut your mouths. By the way all of these people are now currently working in the same capacity at Livingstone college in Salisbury, NC. maitaining their coruptive ways. Looking back on my years at Scotia I appreciate the learning but I hated most of the people (staff). Being treated like children, (curfews, no gym access, timed meals, no co-ed, etc.) causes me to be frustrated with the fact that I did 5 years at that place, and yes I did say "I did 5 Years" like it was jail, because it was like prison. But maybe things have changed since they lost their accredidation from SACS. I hope they get it back.
