The University of New Haven is so welcoming. I realized I wasn't just going to be another number at the University when I attended SOAR before my freshman year. So far I have had a great experience here and I really enjoy taking classes that will prepare me for Law school once I graduate. -I even looked up potential law schools and saw that the classes I am taking now, I will retake again then. I know the education I am getting here is not like any other I would get at another University with 100+ students in my classes. The one on one help and personal attention I have gotten from Professors here has really impacted me. My freshman english instuctor (Dr. Russo -take her for E110!) has even written me a recommendation letter for scholarships I have applied for in the past. At any other University with class sizes larger than 100+ I am sure I would not receive the attention I do. Overall, UNH is expanding more than ever right now and it's for the better of the University and the students that are attending. With everything that is currently going on at UNH and the popularity the school is receiving, UNH does not receive enough credit for what it is doing and will continue to do in the future. UNH is in a great location, just a few miles from downtown New Haven, a couple miles from the long island sound and a few miles from the mall. Transportation is abundant here!
