I've read a lot of the comments on here and felt that I needed to help you out. First, if you are so miserable - leave! It really is that simple. It also seems that some of you, namely kindergarten-break down girl, need to look at things a little more objectively and not write things when you are an emotional mess. If a little criticism from a professor is a major life crisis then you are in the wrong field. You're going to get a lot worse from your students! Millersville is a decent school. It isn't Yale but you knew that when you applied. If you could've gotten into something better then you would be there now. I went to MU and did well. I have a great job, a master's degree and am working on a post-graduate degree. MU, for ed. majors, is a highly recognizable name that will open more than a few doors for you. Your professors will be able to move that along as more than a few of them have connections. Make friends, be nice! Obviously, MU will get you places as long as you stop whining and do your work. Yes, it can be boring but you'd be stuck in studying if you went to a bettee school, Einstein. A lot of you seem to have no friends. Join a club or a sport, or leave your door open and say HI to your floor mates.
