I went to BSU because I was born and raised in Boise, a beautiful city with an amazingly freindly population where people still smile at eachother int he streets and lots of outdoor activities. I didn't even consider other schools, I wanted to be "home". I participated in the Honors college, and enjoyed those classes the most because of the low student to teacher ratios. Some of my classes had 100+ students in them and it's not much fun to be just another face in the croud, but I realize that by choosing to go to a school where I wouldn't have to take out student loans, you get what you pay for. Overall, the Honors classes were great and the staff helpful and friendly, I would highly recommend them if it if you at planning on going to BSU.Maybe it was because I lived off campus, but the 2nd most disappointing aspect of my experience (after the INFURIATING parking situation) their was the lack of student cohesiveness. I didn't bond with ANY of my classmates or make friends in my classes and I consider myself an outgoing friendly person. but then maybe I just didn't try hard enough to attend events or get into the student governemnt??Overall BSU gets the job done and the pros are price, Honors college, and the Boise atmosphere.
