Major: Accounting (This Major's Salary over time)
DO NOT ATTEND THIS COLLEGE IF YOU WANT AN EDUCATION. I started at Truman College in the fall of 2008. The most that I have learned there is that the staff is unwilling to do anything above the least they can do. I was on work study and was notified one day at work that it was my last day because they ran out of money. One of my accounting teachers dictated study guides to use verse actual instructional time. Upon reviewing the class they were shocked at the level of injustice that this teacher was doing, however they would not do anything to correct the class. They were not willing to help me get in rolled in or attend the class as it was finally present by a different teacher because I had financial aid. Even more shocking is how I was treated threw out this entire process. I filed my complaint and grievance at the beginning of March and just heard back today, May 20. To top it off the college does NOT even offer all the course required to graduate with an associates degree in accounting. You would actually have to go to another one of the city colleges of Chicago to actually get a degree.
