Small classes (my smallest was four people including me) and my largest a little over 20.
If you aren't Catholic (I am an atheist) you do not feel pressured to attend mass or affiliate with any of the religious aspect.
Most professors are very helpful and accessible.
Everyone knows each other
Ocean view
A excellent choice as a transfer school
Cons:
Expensive (but thats you pay for to get small classes)
This review may seem bias, but Marymount had given me many opportunities. I became president of the Business Club, received four awards (2 academic and 2 co-circular), great GPA, joined the Honor Society, realized what I wanted to pursue as my major, and of course accepted to the the University of my choice (Loyola Marymount University). If you come to Marymount not planning to take advantage of the opportunities then you are wasting your money. Go to a public 2 year school because Marymount is such an EASY school to make yourself distinguished. I have not always been such a great student. In high school I had a B average, low SAT scores, and no co-circular activities. If you are one of those ignorant people who think "Marymount is just a bunch of spoiled rich white kids who fail at life" then Marymount is not for you. If you really take the time to know the students at Marymount you will find many intelligent, kind, caring, and open individuals. I created many friendships that will last throughout my life.
