I originally went to ISU because I admit, this was the only school I applied to after transferring from community college. The first month was a blast. I was away from my family and had the freedom to do what I want. The first month going in was a blast. The teachers were helpful, the girls were really cute and friendly, but then I realized it was just the honeymoon effect.

Slowly after I started to see how crappy this school was. The campus itself was nice, but everything beyond that looked like a tornado went through the town in the 50's.

To meet people as a guy I essentially had to meet girls, who were then invited to parties, which then i was invited to go. So in those terms, the girls were friendly, but the guys are a bit territorial while making friends.

The academic advisors essentially don't help you out. I was scheduled classes I never wanted to take, but only taken it because it was fitting my schedule.

School spirit is almost non existent. The football team plain out sucks. I was kind of embarrassed to tell people I even went to ISU for a short period of time.

All in all I was happy I went to this school, not because I liked it, but it because it gave me an experience of what it was like to just settle at a school. Don't however, do what i did.

The girls are cute, a lot are easy (sorry, but its true), the nightlife requires constant drinking. There is a lot of people that makes you wonder how in the world did they even pass high school. The academics I realize were mediocre after going to a more prestigious university. This school is pretty much for people that want to go to college just to slack off and go to a D- party school.

You would be much better off going to Arizona State University if you just wanted to slack off and party.
