I dont know why there are bad reviews of this school. I love mostly everything about Clayton State. The atmosphere here is great. Students are friendly (even though they do tend to be in those high school cliques), faculty are VERY friendly and they do want to see students succeed. The teachers here know a lot about the subjects that they are teaching. Everyone here is helpful. The course work is not bad at all. It is a bit challenging but it is nothing that is impossible to do. I live in the dorms and I can say that the dorms are very nice. They are kind of a long distance from the classes and such but then again, I am not one who likes to walk. There is always something to do on campus and there are many organizations to join. They have a lot of job fairs here and they are seriously trying to help you succeed. The only thing that I do not like about Clayton State is the animals here on campus. The swans in the lake are pretty but they can be intimidating at times because they are big. But they do not hurt anybody and they barely even pay attention to you. Maybe I am just being scary! Also, there are geese on campus that just walk around freely. I guess this adds to the scenery but sometimes you will find yourself walking past 15 geese that look as if they want to run towards you…then again, I may just be a scary person! There are also other creatures here on campus that like to appear at night so I highly recommend not walking at night alone. Other than that,the campus is very safe. If you do not feel safe, you can always call campus security and they will be glad to walk you to your car or back to the dorms.

Clayton State is a wonderful place and I dont regret my decision to go here!
