If you are a good student and got into another great university but because of financial reasons is looking into Fitchburg, then you are not alone. It seems as though there are two types of students here. There are the students who are lucky they even got in and this is pretty much just a great place to party, or there are the students that had to go here for financial reasons but are very smart. The minority of this college is the latter, sadly enough. I ended up meeting a lot of nice, smart kids through my leadership (honors) classes, but got stuck with roommates who just like to party and have little class. There is also absolutely nothing to do on campus, especially on the weekends. So if you're like me and you don't like to party and you have to stay here on the weekends, then you are gonna be bored out of your mind. If I could do it all over again, I would find an inexpensive, back-up school that I actually like, instead of just applying and never even seeing the school when I accepted admission.
