Major: Design Arts - Industrial Design/Graphic Design/etc (This Major's Salary over time)
Im going into my third quarter at the art institute and i have to say I really like it. Its a pain in the ass sometimes with all the projects and crap i have to do but overall worth it. Yea its expensive, but not really. A BS at a decent school is going to cost you the same amount of money for four or five years. Personally I like the accelerated programs, get in get out. This is a design school not a fine arts school. Although some of my teachers have been rather lackluster there are others that make it worth while. This school is set up to get you out the door if you want campus life and to spend the next four or five years in class the go to a university. Its all about what you put into it, there is alot of compition here, but if you choose not to put effort into your projects then of course you not going to get much out of it.
