I attended UNCG for one year. It was honestly miserable. It is like being in High School all over again. Everyone that goes there just goes there because they didn't get in anywhere else. This feeling leaves the overall mood of the student body depressed and uninterested in excelling in school. There a lot of people who think they are cool, down, and intelligent hippies. These people annoy you because they don't have a clue what they are talking about. I met a few really cool guys, all of which have since transferred out. The social life sucks and anyone who tells you it doesn't didn't ever do much. Greensboro is a cool city though, bu honestly not too much to do. The sports are a joke and the athletes an even bigger one. Growing up in the heart of the ACC doesn't give you much respect for Soccer and Baseball as a staple sport. Not to mention all of the athletes will annoy you because they think they are hot sh*t, but they need to realize noone really cares about UNCG sports, not even the students. I went there and I don't have a clue as to which conference they even play in. If your still in High School reading this, do you work. Go to a huge school with real sports and real parties and a real education. I didn't do anything academically and breezed through with A's and B's no problem. Now, I am actually challenged and enjoy doing work in school.
