For prospective MBA students, beware! Their program is not even AACSB acccredited. If you decide to change schools, you might have some issues with transferring credits. For those of you who don't know what AACSB means, it is the gold standard of Business School accreditation. Even 2nd tier colleges in Michigan like CMU and Eastern have this accreditation. This really speaks volumes of the standard of the MBA program.70% of the faculty are not qualified to teach, look at the faculty profiles on their homepage and you will see what I mean. If you're looking for a challenge or academic rigor, you would be better served somewhere else.People who do an MBA usually fall into 2 categories, those who are seeking a career change or those who are seeking career advancement. If you are seeking career advancement, my advice to you is not to waste your time and money and concentrate on your performance at work.If you are seeking a career change, the Madonna MBA will not be opening any doors for you. If you can't get into a top 20-30 MBA program, then don't bother wasting time and money because the alumni networking and corporate recruitment is non-existent. No one outside of the Detroit Metro area and its suburbs would have ever heard of Madonna and your chances of landing a job in this area are next to none. (Detroit's unemployment rate is 29%)I did my undergrad at a top 10 school in the nation and my experience is that the alumni network and recruitment activities make a big difference to your chances of landing a job.
