My 4 and a half years at Virginia Tech were probably the greatest of my life. You really grow up and find out who you are and what you really can be capable of. The resources are there for you to take you knowledge and maturity to the next level, not just sit idle. Don't get me wrong I wasnt the most incredible student ever, but I made by and came out with a degree that got me a decent paying job in a field that I love. Tech is such a great atmosphere and the people you meet will most likely be your friends for the rest of your life. I definitely partied hardcore going to house parties, apartment parties, frat houses, and definitely downtown, so there really is no excuse to say that nothing happens in this small town party wise cause there's ALWAYS something happening. Don't get me started on sports cause thats basically what you live for on weekends, Lane Stadium is the S$#T. TONS of extra-curricular activities and TONS of clubs you can join. I did and was able to travel to multiple places along the east coast for competitions and such. AGAIN..take advantage of everything at Tech, cause once you get that itch, you'll be a Hokie for life.
