A lot of the previous comments are quite negative. Like others have said, college is what you make of it. You cannot judge a school based on your interactions with a handful of people who happen to be white, wealthy, and (generally) from California or wealthy areas of Colorado.I didn't like it here initially but as time goes on I appreciate it more. I have found some wonderful professors and some not so great professors as well. That's true anywhere. So I advise freshmen to stick it out for a year and if they still don't like it by May, then transfer. But don't judge a school based on a few people. Everyone has their good parts, no matter their background.
