First and foremost, these sites tend to be a poor indicator as to whether or not a school is of value or not; considering a myriad of difficulties infringing on an objective view of scholastic excellence. Thus, as with anyone else writing a review, am writing from my subjective personal experience in attempts of reaching a sound conclusion in regards to the school's academia. If I was to say everything surpassed superior expectation I would be lying, yet considering the enormously positive experience (continuing)I received whilst attending the university, to sway from good favor would be a degenerative insult. So—enough with the rhetoric. I double majored at MSU with a degree in Religion and Philosophy, minor in cognitive neuroscience; upon completion of my bachelors I was accepted (and now currently attending) Columbia University's Graduate program for philosophy (which in my humble opinion, justifies itself). Yet, not to sound pretension, or a sporadic lucky case—I must attribute all scholastic success to MSU and the enormously helpful, bright, and compassionate faculty. I apologize if other have had negative experiences, yet as mentioned earlier, these could be for a number of reasons un-academically induced. I consider myself a hardworking student (graduated on time, out of h.s, et cetera) and considering my personal experience, success I am currently having at Columbia, and bright future I look forward to articulating in higher education—I feel I can honestly say, that MSU is a great choice for anyone in the tri-state area looking for the best academic value one can get in pedagogical studies.
