KSU has great academic programs, that continue to become more rigorous and challenging as the years pass. The computer science program is top notch, and combined with the excellent career services center, internships come easily. The hire rate from career services is so high, the CS dept only offers evening classes for junior and senior level courses, because everyone works from 9-5.

The social life is still a bit lacking, however is continuing to improve. Greek life is growing steadily, and is definitely worth looking into. KSU had a long history of being a commuter school with zero social opportunity, but with all the new dorms in place this is changing quickly.

Most of the students here are pretty cool. BUT, if you're a guy and got excited after seeing the male/female ratio, all I gotta say is its the same story as Georgia Tech but backwards…the odds are good but the goods are odd. There are quality women running around, but most are practically married. The rest are carrying a lot of baggage around…you have the tattoo girls (tattoos=herpes, folks), the high-maintenance brats, the single moms, the creepy Christians, and the

crowds, which probably make up about 60% of the female population. Nothing too bad, but you're not going to have hordes of cool single girls throwing themselves at you.

In any case, KSU has great potential, great scholarship, great career services program, great financial aid office, mostly good professors, ok student population, ok campus, meh surrounding city.
