UNCG is sooo lame. there is nothing to do here… ever. i read the reviews on this site before coming here and they were all good for the most part but dont fall for it because everyone feels the same way I do, that this place sucks. i really dont get how college can be this bad. first of all the food made me sick for weeks and its the same old thing everyday or you could have taco bell, but trust that it will get old. the surrounding city is not that gr8 theres like a mall and a shopping center but thts it. if you dont have a car or know someone tht does you will be stuck riding the city bus or stuck on campus 24/7 with nothing to do. apart from the kids being losers ( because believe me they are) they are no fun and EVERYONE goes home every single weekend and then the place turns into some deserted town. if you dont come here with ppl you know its going to be hard to find ppl tht can hang out with you considering everyone is always gone. everyone just ends up hanging with their roommate. its not worth a red dime cent to come here apart from the fact tht due to budget cuts everyone got scholarships ripped right from under them. most ppl i talked to are transfering as am I . the academics arent tht gr8 either its just work thts annoying or no work and lecture courses tht try to exam on ten chapters @ a time. so heres some advice: you want a gr8 college life with a surrounding city thts easy to get to and with alot to do? then this is definitely not the place.
