The school has made a name for itself and most people out of here get into top grad/law/med schools. the faculty varies a lot, and I've had some bad experiences with them refusing to answer their emails and being difficult just for the sake of being difficult. It's evident the faculty are all very smart and have great credentials, however many of them should learn how to connect better with their students and be more open. Aside from that, the student body is the complete opposite from diverse. Most are upper middle class white kids from New England, making everyone here very much the same in their views and backgrounds. Some people are fine with this, but I prefer more diversity. Pretty much if you are happy being around the same kids and you feel like you fit in with preppy New Englanders, you'll like this school. As far as the night life goes, it's pretty much what you make of it. There aren't any frats and very few sports houses so you are pretty much stuck drinking in your room and going to dance parties for about 20 minutes before they get broken up. There is a HUGEEE disconnection between the student body and administration that seems to be getting worse. I know many people love this school, but if you are looking for more diversity and more options, I would recommend a larger school in a city. To me, this school seems more like high school than college at times.
