Major: Fine Arts - Painting/Sculpture/Photography/etc (This Major's Salary over time)
This is my first semester here at CCS, and I believe it is the most wonderful place on earth. I call it "Art Heaven". The atmosphere is very competitive. VERY COMPETITIVE. And this is not just a design school, it is very highly developed in the fine arts department and many successful fine artists come out of this school. The staff is always willing to help and challenge you both creatively and intellectually. The work is strenuous… you will only stay if you are able to handle the work load. I average 40 hours of homework a week. But the bright side to the heavy work load is the fact that you see yourself improving exponentially right in front of your eyes. It's a beautiful thing. This school is inspiring and exciting and full of wonderful opportunities. This should be your first choice in an art school. Detroit may sound bad, but campus security will keep you safe, that is for sure. The campus is beautiful as well. So, all in all, it is wonderful, but be ready to work EXTREMELY hard and very long hours.
