I chose to come to Curry because it was the only school that I was accepted and not wait listed. For the love of God, if you are thinking about coming here, don't. I feel like I am in high school all over again, and the gated campus makes me feel completely caged and babysat.

For the most part people are clicky, the campus literally is empty on the weekends. My professors are condescending and there is such a lack of the compassion and individual learning I was told this small school would provide. All of my classes are dumbed down so that everyone else can follow, and professors scale grades a lot because people score so low.

Everyone has a learning disability for the PAL program. So no offense but for the most part you are dealing with many not so bright people, and you live among them and listen to some of the most idiotic things come out of people's mouths.

All of the girls I know sleep around and love to brag about it. Everybody knows everyone else's business and if you were actually lucky enough to go out to party off campus (which never happens), your roommate will be able to tell you all the details of your night the second you get through the door.

So this school would be a good fit for you if you are missing half of your brain, if you are completely sheltered and naive to the real world, if mom and dad send you hundreds of dollars a week, or if you just want to slack off and still get As. It would also suit you if you find gossip entertaining.

I wouldn't recommend attending this school if you are from the city like me. It is way too slow paced and gossipy, like a small town. I wouldn't recommend it if you have any other schools to choose from. I wouldn't recommend it if you are a free thinker and open minded, because you will only find a few relatable people here.

There are some good things. I don't put in any effort and my GPA is pristine. The food is good. The new student center is really pretty and I spend a lot of time in the gym there. I have a few really great friends and we do have fun together, but there's not a big party scene. Your pretty much always stranded on campus as a freshman here. The people I relate to the most are the ones who want to get out of here just as badly as I do. I get along with everybody, I'm not snobby, I have just had an extremely sour experience here simply because it is an adverse environment for me. I need to work in order to have money and the campus denied me a parking spot as a first year, so I am constantly getting random rides to work or taking a taxi. If you are independent, mature, and you are a very busy person, this isnt the school for you.
