Date: Nov 20 2009 Major: Criminal (This Major's Salary over time) St. Edwards is a wonderful school and the people are diverse and great. The school offers advice on potential careers and internships, which I should have taken advantage of while I was there. St. Eds doesn't have the reputation of UT… mostly because we don't have a football franchise… yet people in Austin seem to think highly of the Hilltoppers and that has certainly been beneficial to me.I think that I will go into their graduate school due to the base I have built at St. Eds. I have become more confident in the person I am due to the small and extremely focused classes, I have been motivated by interesting teachers that enjoy what they do and as a result I want to keep learning.Prospective students need to look past the small student body size… U of T, in reality, can make you feel insignificant. Large classes and a lot of people around all the time doesn't necessarily mean the school will be more fun to attend. St. Eds is a short drive from the UT campus and one can easily attend the games or meet plenty of other students at one of the many bars between the two schools. My biggest class at St. Edwards had approximately 25 people in it.
