Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
TLU is like a big high school, which is not bad. Small campus and less than a 1000 students. I found that to be a plus. On the other hand, the academics sucked. It's either busywork, or listen & regurgitate. Some of the peripheral courses were okay, but there is a "stopping" point for people not in that major. I'd suggest taking some of the basics at a community college and transfer them in. Saves a little money, but the biggest thing it doesn't affect your GPA. I'm not concerned about how some professor was mistreated down in the valley when he was growing up…and needs to grow up some more. I'd say the academics are about mediocre. Some profs just ramble on about nothing, and give two exams the whole semester. Others loaded you down with a ton of busywork that is time consuming, but not hard at all. It's an okay school but not worth the price tag.
