I'm am going to try to be neutral about this review but I do enjoy this school very much.

The first thing I would like to touch on is that the school is very small and for the most part, your teacher WILL know who you are. I only took two big classes and both cases the teacher knows who I am despite the fact that the class has over 50 people.

Now the quality of the classes are extremely varied. I highly recommend people to not major in math and not to enroll in any math classes here. During high school, I got straight A's in math. During my first year, much of the material was regurgitated from what I learned while I was at high school. However, I seriously think that the math department makes you dumber.

I am a business major and I had an amazing teacher in one of those business classes. He encouraged the class to participate in extracurriculars and made it mandatory by integrating the outside experiences into his grade system. However, the other 3-4 business classes I took were drab, boring, and dull.

I HIGHLY recommend their english department. Now if you already hate English or writing, the classes won't change your perspective on anything. However, I LOVE English because it emphasises freedom of thought.

Now I do not go out much and I am not really integrated into the party scene. I would say that the people here are rather nice and friendly. Due to this school's intense party scene, sometimes the school doesn't feel very safe. Last year, my current roommate stole all th toilet paper in the dorm. Also, various pieces of furniture are sometimes broken or grow missing seemingly overnight. If you live in your dorm, I recommend you to LOCK YOUR DOOR. If you forget, chances are people will do crazy shit to you when your sleeping. Once, I woke up sleeping next to my garbage bin in bed with a nasty bruise on my cheek.

Overall, the school is pretty nice but like I said it all depends on the student. I am a person that loves his private space. I generally do not go out that often (not like theres anything in charleston) yet I love it here. Even if you don't know a guy, he/she will probably invite you to go to that party down the street.
Like I said the classes are varied, but many classes are enjoyable or interesting.
