Its
a very good school for your money, especially if you
have the Hope and live nearby. That's the only reason
I'm going. I'm not into the nursing part of my
major yet. I just finished my first semester. The classes
don't seem very challenging, as long as you study. While
it doesn't foster creativity or anything like that, it will
fully cover the bases on what you need to know
(as far as the courses I've had go.) Some professors
are awesome, most are competent if not spectacular, and a
few are spectacularly incompetent. I think it would be a
really good school for getting your basics and then transferring,
if you don't want to leave home right away or
wrack up a lot of student loan debt. Dealing with
the financial aid office is a pain, though. Also, if
you have questions about admission or classes or financial aid,
absolutely do not call them. It's difficult to get any
helpful information from them in a phone call. If you
go down to the respective office in person, though, for
some reason they're very helpful. At least, things like admissions
and the business office are. Financial aid is confusing whatever
you do.
